Performances:

My first gig as a piper was in 1976 and came as a result of my dad sending me out of the house to practice. As a result, I was asked to play at the graduation party of a neighbor - three blocks away.

Since then I have performed at a wide variety of events including: the 2005 World Pipeband championships in Glasgow, Scottland, numerous St. Patrick's Day melees, the Carson Celtic Faire, the St. Andrews Guild Winterfest and Fireman's memorial services.

Hear a quicktime movie of Sean playing "Amazing Grace" and "The Houghs of Cromdale" in from of Castle Grant in Scotland, where his ancestors were pipers to the Lairds. (Quicktime Movie 9.7 MB)

I've had appearances on Resort Sports Network TV as both a piper and a skier (see below). I was interviewed by KHTX radio. I have opened for such noted acts as the Dead Kennedys, Tempest and Sol'Jibe.

I have performed the traditional role as bagpiper at formal "Dining In" and "Dining Out" events for the United States Navy and Marine Corps Squadrons and Training Commands.

I currently play with the Sierra Highlanders Pipe Band and have performed as a member of the Gordon Highlanders Pipe Band, in Buffalo, New York (established in 1837), and the Monterey Scottish Pipe Band.

I have even recorded a studio session and performed at Slim's and "The Pound" in San Francisco with punk-rock legend "Cellblock 5", whose music has been called "perfect music to listen to while driving a stolen car".

I also do lots of weddings!

Murphy's Irish Pub, Every Thursday 8 PM -11PM

I am currently hosting a Celtic Music Jam Session every Thursday from 8 PM 'till they throw us out' at Murphy's Irish Pub. The jam session provides an opportunity for local musicians to interact and to promote themselves and upcoming musical events. Murphy's is located at 787 Emerald Bay Road, South Lake Tahoe, 45 seconds from the "Y" on highway 89 towards Emerald Bay.

Skiing

Another venue in which I regularly perform is on the ski slopes. I have taught skiing for 10 years and was honored to be voted one of North America's top 100 instructors by Skiing magazine. Currently, I am not teaching, however I am still working to inspire people through skiing, by working as a ski model for Resort Sports Network TV. I represent Kirkwood Mountain Resort, Sierra-at-Tahoe, and Predatorware clothing. Footage from our weekly "Video News Release" highlights current conditions at each resort and is sent to 32 television stations throughout Northern California and Nevada. Footage is also seen nationally through CNN and the Weather Channel and worldwide via the resorts website.
